Barbara E. Erlandson has been practicing exclusively in the area of immigration law since 1999.  She speaks Spanish. Barbara assists individuals and families with a variety of immigration cases filed with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services including applications for permanent residence ("green card") through marriage and other family members, I-751 Petitions to Remove Conditions on Residence, applications for U.S. Citizenship (naturalization), applications for a waiver of the J-1 visas two-year foreign residence requirement and "U" visas for crime victims. She also processes fiance visas and immigrant visas for spouses, parents, and children at U.S. Consulates and Embassies throughout the world.

Barbara graduated with honors from the William Mitchell College of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota.  During law school, she clerked as an intern at the Immigration Court in Bloomington, MN. She also worked as a law clerk at Centro Legal in St. Paul, MN and a law firm in Minneapolis, MN.  Prior to attending law school, Barbara worked at the Peace Corps headquarters office in Washington, D.C. from 1991-1996.  She served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Costa Rica from 1988-1990. She received her undergraduate Bachelor of Arts degrees in Management and Spanish from the College of St. Benedict in St. Joseph, MN. During her junior year of college she studied in Madrid, Spain.
