That is my exclusive immigration focus, and it is driven by a loophole in current US immigration law that has denied automatic citizenship to thousands of intercountry adoptees who were adopted by US citizen parents. My work involves green card renewals, naturalization proceedings, applications for certificate of citizenship and, in complex cases, representing intercountry adoptees in adjusting status to that of a legal permanent resident.
