Puyang & Wu, LLC (f/k/a Puyang & Associates, LLC) was founded in 2005 in the State of Maryland with Attorney Mi M. Puyang as the founding member. Attorneys at Puyang & Wu are licensed in good standing and primarily practice U.S. immigration and nationality law. 

Attorney Mi M. Puyang holds a Juris Doctor Degree from the University of Maryland School of Law. She also holds a Doctor of Philosophy Degree and Master of Arts Degree from the University of Maryland Baltimore County. Attorney Puyang is admitted to the Bar of the Court of Appeals of Maryland and the United States District Court District of Maryland. Attorney Puyang is a member of AILA, Maryland State Bar Association (MSBA) and MSBA Immigration Law Section. She served as a Board Member and Co-Chair of Program Committee of Maryland-China Business Council (MCBC) from 2006 to 2017.

Attorney Jia J. Wu holds a Juris Doctor Degree from the University of Maryland School of Law. He also holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Vanderbilt University. Attorney Wu is admitted to the Bar of the Court of Appeals of Maryland and the District of Columbia Court of Appeals. Attorney Wu is a member of AILA, Maryland State Bar Association (MSBA) and MSBA Family Law Section and Immigration Law Section.

  • Working visa petitions, including L-1A, L-1B, H-1B, TN, O, P, R, Q, U, etc.

  • Non-immigrant visa matters, including visa extensions and change of status applications.

  • Other immigration matters, such as employment authorization document applications, re-entry permit and advance parole applications, request for consideration of deferred action for childhood arrivals (DACA), 601A waiver, green card abandonment, etc.

  • Representing clients at their interviews at USCIS district office or field office.
