Daniel Shanfield is an immigration attorney dedicated to helping immigrants and their families win the toughest cases.  Our law firm focuses exclusively on complex deportation defense, family immigration issues and permanent residency through marriage, naturalization, criminal immigration problems, and federal court mandamus and immigration litigation.  We work tirelessly to bring families together, and to keep them here when trouble strikes. 

 

Daniel is a former litigation attorney and prosecutor with INS, and clinical law professor at New York Law School in Downtown Manhattan.  Daniel is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, Boalt Hall School of Law and UCLA (magna cum laude), and is admitted to practice before the California Supreme Court, Federal Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, the Federal District Court, Executive Office for Immigration Review, State Department, and Department of Homeland Security. He is former Chair of the Santa Clara Valley Chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, and is past Chair of the Immigration Section of the Santa Clara County Bar Association. Daniel is also fluent in Spanish and French.
