Dan L. Owens has an extensive twenty-seven year background in the area of Immigration and Nationality Law and has been highly beneficial to the Firm with respect to international clients. He has practiced extensively both in Immigration and Naturalization Service offices throughout the U.S., and before a number of U.S. Consular posts overseas, representing the interests of both individuals and U.S. businesses and universities which employ foreign nationals. Significant portion of practice involves representing foreign medical graduates and health care providers employing them.
Additional Experience
- Served as a lecturer and panelist at various continuing legal education courses involving immigration law, and his articles in the field have appeared in Louisville Lawyer and Kentucky Bench and Bar.
- Mr. Owens’ past employment includes experience as a trial attorney for the Federal Trade Commission, and practice as a partner in a general practice firm concentrating in general civil, trial and appellate practice, immigration and nationality law, professional malpractice, personal injury and domestic relations law.
