ABOUT ATTORNEY SUFEN HILF:
Sufen Hilf graduated from Michigan State University School of Law in 2000, the same year that she became a citizen of the United States after immigrating to this country in 1988. She has been an active member of the Michigan State Bar and the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) since 2001, and has served on the Michigan AILA Chapter liaison committee since 2004. As a partner at Hilf & Hilf, PLC, she practices extensively in the areas of business immigration, family immigration, and removal proceedings. As part of her practice, she regularly engages in pro-bono services to indigent applicants, and has provided free seminars about immigration law to the Chinese community of Michigan, as she is fluent in both the English and Mandarin Chinese languages. She has volunteered her time at events such as naturalization ceremonies, citizenship day, to promote her passion to encourage and promote immigration to the United States.
